Important Note:
Some reports dated November and December of 2009 may not be available for preview in this system. If this occurs, contact the Records Bureau at 268-4261.

Once you decide to purchase an accident report, upon acceptance of your credit card, you will be given a link to download your accident report. You may purchase 1 or more reports, up to 100, at a time. All reports in full are delivered in PDF format at a cost of $16.00 each. It is highly recommended that you include a valid email address with payment. For more instructions, click here.

To get the traffic report(s) for immediate purchase, please either enter
Incident ID number(s)
Example: 04C000001, 04C000002
Or search by driver/street name and accident date:
Driver's first name
Driver's last name
Street name
Approximate accident date (mm/dd/yyyy)
Instructions
  1. Either enter 1 or more incident numbers, or search for 1 incident number by name & date. Incident number has the format of 04C000000, where 04 is the year. There must be 6 digits after 04C (if less than 6, add zeros in front to make 6).
  2. Preview each incident report and select only the report(s) you want to purchase. Important: If you cannot preview a report, do not attempt to purchase it!  Reports follow a review process by the state and therefore my not be available immediately. Please allow several business days before re-trying to preview a report.
  3. Enter payment information and download your report(s).
  4. If you supplied a valid email address with payment, you will receive an electronic receipt, which gives you the convenience to access purchased reports again within 30 days.

Additional Information:
  • Traffic Reports will be available after review by Wichita Police and submittal to the State of Kansas.  Therefore, report availability may be delayed several business days.
  • Please be patient if you order a large number of reports.
  • If you have any questions concerning an accident report please contact Police Records at (316)268-4261. If you would like to make any comments or suggestions concerning this site then please contact the City Webmaster or click the Take 10 seconds link at the bottom of this page. 
  • Note: If your security settings are set at a high or highest level, you may not be able to download the accident report. Lowering this setting may usually fix the issue.
  • Note: It is highly recommended that you provide us with a valid email address with your payment. If you do so, we will email you an electronic receipt that contains a summary about your purchase as well as the link(s) via which you can download your report(s) again within 30 days. It is your responsibility to ensure the correct entry of your email address. An email address is not required to complete the purchase of a report, however.
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader, downloadable for free at http://www.adobe.com, is generally required to read/print PDF reports.
